Sevi's history is in its name, which combines the initials of the founder's son (Senoner Vinzenz): in 1831 the young carving and inlaying craftsman Josef Anton Senoner founded the toy company in Ortesei (Val Gardena), in the northern region of Italy, close to the German, Austrian, French and Swiss borders.
